CALETA DE FAMARA – THE WILD CHARM OF NORTHERN LANZAROTE
Located in the northwest of Lanzarote, La Caleta de Famara is one of the most authentic and magical spots on the island. A fishing village that retains its essence with sandy streets, white houses, and the impressive Famara Cliffs in the background.
Its extensive beach, stretching over six kilometres, is a natural paradise for lovers of surfing, tranquillity, and sunsets. The combination of sea, wind, and light creates a unique atmosphere, perfect for those seeking to relax and connect with nature.
Famara preserves a bohemian and relaxed vibe, far from the more touristy areas of the south. It is common to see surfers, photographers, and travellers arriving in search of the ocean’s wild energy. Its natural environment, free from large buildings, offers a pure and serene beauty that captivates everyone who visits.
From here, you can easily access the Mirador del Bosquecillo and the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park. Both locations offer spectacular panoramic views of northern Lanzarote and the island of La Graciosa.
